Tactical Combat Casualty Care Course
Total Force medical personnel from Little Rock Air Force Base, Ark., treat a wounded training mannequin during the Tactical Combat Casualty Care Course final exam on base, Oct. 16, 2020. Fifteen medics from Air Force active duty, Reserve and Guard units completed the course, which was facilitated by the 19th Medical Group, local Metropolitan Emergency Medical Services and supported by Air National Guard security forces members. The training prepares medical professionals to perform in an austere combat environment. The life-like mannequin simulates heart beats, breathing, blood loss, and more, in order to provide realistic feedback. (U.S. Air Force Reserve photo by Maj. Ashley Walker)
