Airdrop Competition
Staff Sgt. Anthony Miller, 327th Airlift Squadron loadmaster, guides a Humvee into a C-130J Hercules during the annual turkey shoot competition at Little Rock Air Force Base, Ark. August 7, 2019. While the competition is a training exercise, it also serves to increase unit cohesion and interoperability between the crews. Mission success depends on Airmen resiliency and their ability to overcome adversity. During the competition, each crew loads a Humvee, completes an assault landing and preforms a small cargo drop. They are scored for timing and accuracy for each of these events. (U.S. Air Force Reserve Photo by Senior Airman Chase Cannon)
