Airdrop Competition

Staff Sgt. Anthony Miller, 327th Airlift Squadron loadmaster (left), and Tech. Sgt. William Mcleod, 327th Airlift Squadron loadmaster (right), ride in the back of a C-130J Hercules as it taxis the runway at Little Rock Air Force Base, Ark. August 7, 2019. The C-130 crew was taking part in a competition called the “turkey shoot.” The first part of the competition is loading and unloading a Humvee for time. Miller was in charge of guiding the Humvee and securing it into the aircraft, while Mcleod was in charge of the cargo drop. The Reserves have one weekend a month, two weeks a year to fulfill training in order to prepare for real world missions and requirements. (U.S. Air Force Reserve Photo by Senior Airman Chase Cannon)
