Blood Drive
A collection specialist from the Arkansas Blood Institute draws blood from an Airman during the blood drive at Little Rock Air Force Base, Ark., August 4, 2019. The blood donation is a four-step process: registration, medical history and mini-physical, followed by the donation. Each donation of 1-pint can contribute to saving up to 3 lives. While Airmen’s main focus is readiness training during Unit Training Assembly, the blood drive allowed Airmen to take a break from training and give back to the community.
