913 AG Airmen compete in Marine Corps Combat Fitness Test

U.S. Air Force Reserve Staff Sgt. Bryan Cheeks, engine mechanic, 913th Maintenance Squadron, lifts a 30-pound ammunition can over his head repeatedly for two minutes, during the Marine Corps Combat Fitness Test (CFT) Competition Nov. 22, 2017, at Little Rock Air Force Base, Ark. The Marine CFT requires participants in battle dress uniform, to sprint a timed 880 yards, lift a 30-pound ammunition can overhead from shoulder height repeatedly for two minutes, and perform a maneuver-under-fire event, which is a timed 300-yard shuttle run in which participants are paired up by size and perform a series of combat-related tasks.
