Challenging work for SERE Specialist

U.S. Air Force Capt. Nick Rapp, a C-130J pilot assigned to the 41st Airlift Squadron, leads a group into the woods after escaping simulated internment during the land navigation portion of survival, evasion, resistance and escape (SERE) training, June 22, 2016, at Little Rock Air Force Base, Ark. SERE specialists from Team Little Rock teach a wide range of survival skills to aircrew members, from building shelters, finding potable water, avoidance techniques and eating insects; all things they will need to know to survive until rescued, should they find themselves down behind enemy lines.
