913 AG joins in Turkey Shoot
U.S. Air Force Reserve Lt. Col. Dan Collister, pilot, 327th Airlift Squadron, Maj. Ken Hodgson, instructor pilot, 62nd Airlift Squadron, and U.S. Air Force Reserve Maj. Jason Furcron, pilot, 327 AS, conduct a mission brief before competing in the “Turkey Shoot,” Nov. 17, 2016, at Little Rock Air Force Base, Ark. Hodgson was the umpire for the crew, evaluating times over target, ensuring rules of engagement were followed, and providing guidance for the parts of the mission not known to the crew prior to takeoff. This is the second time Airmen from the 913th Airlift Group have participated in the annual competition, which assesses the Airmen’s technical skills in different scenarios and determines which crew is really the best. Five units from Team Little Rock participated in the event. (U.S. Air Force photo by Master Sgt. Jeff Walston/Released)
