Reservist has link to the past

Retired U.S. Navy Lt. John Beckett, rings the bell in honor of the 52 submarines lost during World War II during the “All Cavalla Reunion Memorial Service” at Seawolf Park in Galveston, Texas, Apr. 23, 2016. The bi-annual reunion is an opportunity for former crewmembers of the USS Cavalla SS - SSK - AGSS – 244 and USS Cavalla (SSN 684) to reconnect with each other, make new friends, share sea stories and honor the memory of those submariners who have passed. U.S. Air Force Reserve Master Sgt.
