Reservist has link to the past
Former U.S. Navy Torpedoman’s Mate 2nd Class (SS) Jeff Walston, entertains with a sea story during dinner at the All Cavalla Reunion 2016, in Galveston, Texas, Apr. 23, 2016. The bi-annual reunion is an opportunity for former crewmembers of the USS Cavalla SS - SSK - AGSS - 244 and USS Cavalla (SSN 684) to reconnect with each other, make new friends, share sea stories and honor the memory of those submariners who have passed. Walston, who is now a Master Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force Reserve, is assigned to the 913th Airlift Group, at Little Rock Air Force Base, Ark., and served on the USS Cavalla (SSN 684) from 1977 to 1979.
