CMSgt Rosalba De La Paz is the Senior Enlisted Leader for the 913th Airlift Group, Little Rock Air Force Base, Arkansas. Chief De La Paz is the primary military advisor to the commander on the group’s status of mission readiness and force development for more than 400 personnel. She is responsible for organizing, training, and equipping the group’s Airmen as they continue to provide airlift, airdrop, aeromedical, and humanitarian missions around the world.
CMSgt De La Paz entered the military in 1996 as an Army Combat Medic – 91B. After completion of basic military training and advance individual training school, she was assigned to C Company, 205th Medical Battalion, North Riverside with the Illinois Army National Guard, serving a total of nine years. She joined the Air Force Reserve in 2007, where she served with the 434th Aerospace Medicine Squadron (AMDS) at Grissom ARB, Ind., before becoming the Squadron Medical Element Technician (SME) with the 74th Air Refueling Squadron (ARS). She was the first Squadron Medical Element Technician assigned at the 74th ARS to be appointed as the additional duty First Sergeant. Upon returning from her deployment to Afghanistan she was selected as the 4N Functional Manager, Superintendent for the 434th AMDS.
CMSgt De La Paz was mobilized in 2003 with C/205th Medical Battalion. She also deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, and Operation Inherit Resolve in service to Incirlik Air Base, Turkey twice, Ramstein Air Force Base, Germany and Al Udied AB, Qatar. She deployed with the Department of Defense Expeditionary Civilian Workforce, to work with North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) - Resolute Support Headquarters in Kabul, Afghanistan, 2019 – 2021. In April 2024 she deployed to Jordan Training Center assigned to Area Support Group - Jordan, where she earned the ARCENT combat patch, both deployments were in support of Operation Resolute Support.
