World War II memorials escape damage during recent flooding
The Arkansas Inland Maritime Museum’s main entrance is underwater due to flooding from the Arkansas River in North Little Rock, Ark., Jan. 3, 2016. The floating museum, as well as its main attractions, the USS Razorback (SS-394) and the USS Hoga (YT-146) did not sustain major damage during the recent flooding of the Arkansas River. Recent flooding in Arkansas could set records, and everyone is encouraged to stay off the rivers, which include the Arkansas, Buffalo and White rivers until further notice.
